How To Use The Klip
Determine which tool will best suit your application. Choose from: a hammer, straight klip stick (short or long), an impact stick (short or long), the palm applicator, hand.
Place klip over the cross joint that you wish to fasten with the bridge of the klip (top solid area of klip) running parallel to the bottom bar, and then tap with a hammer to set.
When performing an overlap splice, tap, or push by on by hand, two klips onto the first bar with the four legs snapping over the bar, then squeeze the second bar into the tops of the klips, securing them.
When using a klip stick on cross joints, friction fit a klip onto the head of the stick then follow the procedure stated in point 4, except instead of tapping, push the impact stick until it snaps the klip into place.
When using the palm applicator which is a small plastic plate with a sized nodule for the klip, and a thumb hole, slide the tool over your thumb, friction fit the klip onto the nodule, then place the klip over the desired joint, and press the klip onto the bar with the palm of your hand.
Two bars of different sizes may be joined together with the combination klips. The outermost bar must be the smaller dimension.
